25 Dec 2008:   Merry Christmas!  
Ella wasted no time on Christmas morning.   At first light she was out riding her new tricycle on the drive.   Mum and Lucy stayed insided and continued to open presents.  Olivia (the only sensible one in the family) slept in until about 09:00.

21 Dec 2008:   Lucy had her first piano recital today at Wanda & James Scofield's lovely home here in Kailua.   After only two months of lessons, Lucy managed to play two songs:  "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"  Well done! Lucy.  We are so very proud of you.  Merry Christmas to all our friends and family.

14 Dec 2008:   We all missed Mama very much while she was away in Seattle.  Right now she is on her way back and we are all making welcome home presents for her.  As usual, Lucy has come up with a very creative way to welcome Mama home.

12 Dec 2008:   Lisa on Mauna Kea ?   Contrary to popular rumors, Lisa is not on da Big Island climbing Mauna Kea.   However, she is getting a well deserved break in Seattle.   Mum, hope you are having loads of fun.  Papa and the girls are doing fine, so don't worry. We love and miss you.
